The Many Brake Systems of the Dodge Challenger
Going fast is one of the most thrilling things you can do in a car but being able to stop is one of the most important. The engineers at Dodge have worked hard to ensure that even the most powerful Challenger models come with adequate brakes for their performance.
The Challenger can be had with four different sport-oriented braking systems. The most basic system is comprised of 12.6-inch vented rotors in the front and rear. The most advanced system is found on the SRT Hellcat models and it is produced by Brembo. The front brakes come with 15.4-inch two-piece rotors and six-pistons in each caliper.
We recommend taking the Challenger for a spin around town if you are interested in buying a muscle car. Our team at Yucca Valley Chrysler Center can get you set up behind the wheel and they know you will be blown away with the Challenger’s braking performance.
